Le laboratoire de création La Montage Infinie invite 7 artistes à une recherche commune et créative pour inventer la montagne du futur. C’est une plateforme qui permet aux artistes issu.e.s de toutes les Alpes de se réunir, croiser leurs approches, s’influencer et produire une réflexion partagée. Nous soutenons et accompagnons leurs recherches plastiques et théoriques qui aboutiront à une exposition et une publication collective autour de nos usages futurs des espaces montagneux. Le projet se veut ancré dans une réflexion autour des questions écologiques contemporaines.

This residency invites seven artists to come together for a period of research and creative work around the theme “The Mountains of Tomorrow”. The Infinite Mountain brings together artists from all across the Alps, so they can meet, exchange techniques and ideas, and produce work that is the fruit of a collective thought process. We accompany the artists in their research, both creative and scientific, on mankind’s future relationship with the mountains, and we contribute to the exhibition and the book that follows. The work is also the opportunity to address environmental issues surrounding the mountain landscape.
